Snowden Brand Story

Mr. Yoshizo Asukabe, founder of Snowden, started a development of a new drug in a pharmaceutical company in 1970s. He was introduced to a doctor who taught him effectiveness of placenta. To spread its effectiveness, he decided to start his own business and establish a company, Snowden, to produce placenta extracts. Nowadays, Snowden becomes a successful company, producing pharmaceutical, health food and cosmetic products. Mr. Asukabe thinks it is important to prevent illness. He would like to contribute health and longevity, and women’s beauty through the products available at drug stores where consumers can buy without prescription, as well as the products for doctors. He selected natural materials worldwide which are said to be good for health, such as placenta, lactic acid bacterium and Korean red ginseng. He gathers the scientific data as a proof of the effectiveness, then distribute the products, so that consumers judge the effectiveness of the products in an objective way.
